My wife, Karen, and I have been involved in our local city, county, and the school district to ensure that conservative, common-sense policies take root. Every citizen deserves respect, and there is dignity in recognizing our God-given rights. As a lifelong Republican, I strongly believe in fairness for all.
My years in law enforcement have spanned five decades, starting with the St Louis County police department and ending with the Federal government at the highest level-The White House Secret Service Detail. I grew up respecting the government and have become fearful of the government. I want to earn the respect back from the people for their government. I've overseen million-dollar budgets and hundreds of professional and technical staff. I'm an expert in crisis management. I'm ready for this role in serving you on day one.
Hood County is a unique place with its natural beauty, ranch land, rivers, lakes, streams connected to historical Granbury. "Granbury is where the past and the present coexist harmoniously" (Granbury Texas David K. Barnett) We must, as a community, strive to maintain this way of life for us and our future children. The great news is how strong and talented the people are. I will invite our citizens into our government with their creative ideas, ingenuity, and concerns. I want to help people get involved.
Sometimes, good people become politicians and get elected and become intoxicated with power and they seek the adoration of others. I seek neither title nor glory. I simply desire to serve the people of Hood County. I intend to get to know you and listen to you. I am one of you and I want the best for everyone.
