I was so glad when Mark filed to run for County Judge in November, because he gave Hood County voters a choice on the ballot! I believe contested races give us better candidates and watching Mark meet and engage voters shows me a sincerity that is truly genuine.

Mark is a protector...his law enforcement background is evident of that, as well as his years protecting Presidents Reagan and Bush when he was a Secret Service agent. But watching Mark protect his wife, Karen, as he did when she was a Granbury ISD School Board Trustee, showed me it was more than a professional trait...it was personal, and who Mark was...a man of integrity and a loving husband.

Mark is a man who is up to the task of protecting the citizens of Hood County . He has experience with managing groups of people and departmental budgets. The fact that team members of his from the Secret Service came to Granbury in December to attend his campaign kickoff and recommend him to the citizens of Granbury is a great testament to the type of leader Mark is.

I believe Mark has stepped forward for such a time as this...and it is my honor to endorse his candidacy and recommend him to you on the March 3rd Republican Primary ballot.
